When I bought this jeep, I said I was gonna spend as little money as possible on it. Unfortunately, I spent too much time on this forum and now I know too much to not modify it.

current build:

Currectlync steering
4" RC Lift
eaton e lockers f/r
4.56 gears
full skid plates
new brakes
an E brake that actually works!
Thumb throttle

Possible mods:

Core 4x4 double adjustable arms
Sound system - Alpine W970HD head unit, Alpine KTA-445a 4 channel amp, Alpine KTM-200 mono amp (in progress)
outboarding
Bartact seat covers
Belt driven air compressor
adjustable/tuned shocks
RockJock Springs
new soft top
ARH header/exhaust system
extensive tub rust repair
switching to 35x12.5r17s
different winch/front bumper

that's it for now. Here's a couple pictures of it and where I mounted my amp last night.

Be sure to prioritize the functional stuff. If you are planning for 35's, don't forget to add a brake upgrade to the list.

- mid arm
- tummy tuck
- Body Lift
- BBK
- LS/Hemi
- Super dooty axles
- vols cheerleaders

Does Core make double adjustables? Last I checked I don't remember seeing them.

It already has 35s. I got my brakes working really good, I'm putting the big brake kit on my "nice to have list". I'm sure that will change once I experience what the big brake kit actually feels like

They do, only on the Crawl series arms. it is a $100 surcharge.

Yes, the first ones I need to do are the front upper control arms, their crawl series has a double adjustable option.

Cool, didn't know that. I like Core's arms but only have the cruise ones because of poor planning lol.

Technically I could LS swap it. I have a Cherokee just sitting with a 5.3/4l60 sitting in it that I don't drive much. I want to get my fuel pressure and exhaust issues sorted out to see what the 4.0 actually feels like when it's operating properly before I decide on any power adders

I have a similar setup. 35", 4.56 gearing, e-lockers front/rear, tummy tuck, OME lift, body lift, sye, 6 spd manual. It works good for commuting and level 5-6 trails and below. Harder trails if I didn't mind breaking something. Maintaining 75-80 mph isn't hard unless it's windy.

I have a list of parts I need to upgrade. I plan to focus on steering/front end, brakes, and mechanical first. I need time to do it. Stupid work gets in the way. The good shop I have used in the past if I wanted to pawn it off, packed up and moved to the Moab area.

I don't want to talk crap about Core because I think they're a good budget option. However if you're going to do rock crawling, the rubber bushings do not last long IME. Buying those were truly a (missed) buy once cry once situation

They stopped making the rubber bushings I believe, It seems like too many people were having the same experience as you

from their website: "Equipped with a Johnny Joint at the adjusting end" so maybe when you get double adjustables, where applicable there is a johnny joint on each end?
