Did anyone jump on the Motobilt Crusher limited production front bumper order?

They'll even let you choose your serial number from whatever's available at the time. Get this: They want you to TEXT your request. Not call. Not email. Not on order form. TEXT. Unprofessional as Hell as far as I'm concerned.

Serial number sounds so serious.

Wow! I’m so pumped.

Bought the wife a 10 year anniversary Rubicon in 2013, one year run on the color. Only available on the 10A. Special full steel bumpers and vented hood. Only 500 made.

Until demand went up too, then it topped out around 2,000.

That special Anvil color. Available across the board in 2014.

But she does have red leather seats

Your Jeep looks kind of sour about it too.

Is there something in the water around Fort Rucker? Other than a bunch of warrant officers with money to spend.

Motobilt in Ozark and undercover Fab in Dothan.

Glad I didn't have money when I Was stationed in Lower Alabama

Probably just lower taxes, property prices and better politics than out west..........

But what do I know.....

They texted me right back. Email could get missed, could get a busy signal on a call, they basically shipped immediately, the bumper already delivered to my office today while I was traveling.

Email won't get missed if there's anyone halfway competent on the other end of it. I'd never rely on text for anything mission critical. Unprofessional - you're running your business on a cell phone?

They may have a text number set up to a computer, the Lodge clinic has that, normally get answers faster than an email

That actually is a possibility - I'm toying with the idea of doing something similar since everyone seems to INSIST on communicating that way. That takes the damn phone, or PHOOOOOONNE, completely out of the loop. It also allows me to then route the texts through my email system, with all its filtering and pre-checks before I see it. It'll cost me a bit upfront for hardware, then another $3 or $4/mo to run another SIM, but beats the hassle - and expense - of dealing with a phone of any kind.

And sometimes an email can inexplicably end up in the SPAM folder for reasons unbeknownst to mere humans.

That only happens if the users screw things up, or depend on someone else's filters. I don't even have a SPAM folder, yet I have strict filtering rules that I have developed over the last almost 30 years. Rejects go straight to /dev/null - I can't even remember the last time I didn't get an email that I was supposed to get.

Curiosity got the best of me, that's one spendy bumper! Just the shipping price to WA is more than what i have into my current bumper.

That shipping alone covers half the cost of an aluminum Flux bumper that you know works with sway-lok and the Anti-rock sway bar system. That’s insane for the bumper. Had to have been a bet or something going on internally on whether or not the orders would be filled.
