Hello, wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this issue... I've recently been trying to make a new brass, brake proportioning valve to work with my '99 TJ Wrangler. I purchased this on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3772325338...pid=5337789113&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1
The problem is that one of the internal valves in the mechanism is completely blocking fluid flow to the line that serves the right/front caliper: You can't even bleed the caliper as the flow is blocked from the proportioning valve at that specific line connection.
Years ago, when the product was still available, I bought an original OEM Mopar proportioning valve replacement. It worked flawlessly from the start, and no issues trying to initially bleed ALL lines connected to the valve assembly. Not so the above aftermarket part, it arrives with that valve closed to that specific line by default.
Has anyone had this experience and know how to resolve it? Is there some way of opening that internal valve? Or,do you have to take the whole thing apart?
