The shelves are a bit more squared away than before, but they had to be to make room for the freshly filled fastener bins. Picked up one more low profile packout bin for the automotive electrical stash and also solved a problem with what I like to call the "Milwaukee Mobile Tower of Storage Power". When you don't have the square footage, you have to go vertical.

I need to design/print a solution for the electrical bin to keep the heat shrink tubing sorted, but other than that she's good to go.

Anyone who has packout crates will know that you need to keep your shit below the locking lugs at the top for things to work. This was a problem with my dedicated sanding crate, my sanding blocks and boards didn't quite fit with all the abrasive rolls and sheet packs. While shopping for the electrical bin, I noticed Milwaukee now has a low profile and tall crate available. Checked the measurements and the low profile seemed like a good fit for the sanding gear.



With exception to a small tray of misc shit sitting on my toolbox worktop that still needs to be sorted, I can actually say that my garage is about as organized as it's ever been and likely ever well be (at this living location, anyway). On to other tasks. Next is figuring how to turn these spares of plastic pipe (and additional pieces as needed) into a frame for a portable spray painting booth with ventilation and filtration for the garage.

Sooo I had to cut the grass at one of my rentals late in the day before I left for a 2 week trip. It was dark when I got back to my shop and unloaded my yard tools except my lawnmower. I figured I’d unload it and put it away in its conex box in the morning light. I puttered around the shop for a while and drove home. Got to the first stop sign and while pulling away I heard a noise and looked in the mirror to see my lawnmower coasting through the intersection. Shit I forgot to put the tail gate up. I stoped and ran to get it. While putting it back in I noticed the rear wheels dropping. Headed back to the shop and took a look at it and the mechanism for setting the wheel height was gone. I jumped back into the truck and went back and found the piece that broke off. I figured I’d deal with it when I got back. My first day back and the grass needs to be cut so first thing I did was disassemble the rear axel and see if repairs were possible. I bolted the axle to my welding table matched up the broken piece and welded it back in place. Time will tell if it holds.
