Cheap! Mopar rock rails

Haha I found a set of new ones on eBay for 180$ just snagged them.. figured with shipping plus a new powder coat I would be gambling spending more than that on them... that is if someone could even get them to me haha.. there are still 3 more nos of them on eBay.. but that seller wants almost 300$ for them

I don’t know how rare these sliders are, I’m sure they are not being made anymore. So I figured I would share this with anyone who is interested..

Thank you for that. I just ordered a set. Guess that leaves only two sets left from that seller. ;)

Edit: I originally kept going back and looking at the ARBs, as they are just beautiful. However, I just couldn't justify the cost. I think these are a nice compromise as far as appearance and cost. The likelihood that I'll ever need them as actual sliders is very slight. I just want to lose the Sahara steps and trim, so needed something to put in their place. Thanks again, @Rubirob

How do you like these rock rails? Anyone have an opinion on these over aftermarket?

I haven’t thrown them on yet, other than them being mopar I feel they are about par for the course as a pair of sliders go. Just like the rock crawler bumpers, they are cool and for someone who wants to keep it “original” in as many ways as possible it’s awesome.. if you don’t care about that tho I know you can find other sets that are very nice!

ARB makes some nice stuff, but a price comes with that. I was kinda thinking the same when I got my set. I already have the bumpers for the rock crawler set from mopar, so I figured why not haha. For the price you really can’t beat these sliders. In time if I want a different set I will cross that bridge then haha. Glad I could help!!

And yet when I go back to Ebay, it still shows having 3 sets left. Odd. I have my order confirmation. Maybe they just don't update until they ship.

Yea I bet that’s it, there Inventory probably automatically updates once it ships out of the warehouse. When I first posted it I think they had like 5 or 6 sets, that was about a month ago

Well, it does show "2 sold", where prior to my order it showed "1 sold". As long as they deliver 'em, I'm good with whatever they put on there! ;)

I found an LJ version and I am generally in favor of OEM, so glad to hear. Did all the hardware come with, or do you need to buy that?

Honestly I can’t remember haha, I think hardware came with it.. but I need to check, I do no it would vary from seller to seller.. I don’t think mopar is actually stocking them anymore so it’s all 3rd party.. here is a pick of the drivers side

And another showing the rubber barrier mopar put in there sliders, the plate that comes stock on the jeeps had it as well. I guess it helps prevent rust from building up due to vibrations and metal to metal contact.. so that’s a bonus
