What did you do to your TJ today?

Replaced a few LED interior lights and my head unit today

Also had my radiator drain plug break off and burned the hell out of my hand. So that was fun.

KennedyLj, I’m thinking about doing just the opposite, going from painted black rims to chrome Laredo style rims. Can’t never be happy with what we have, gotta change things.

Absolutely remember those two rigs! We passed before you get to the town. Did you go over the snow drift just before the downed trees?

This the snow drift your talking about? Is that your tracks going over it? We weren’t ballsy enough to cross without clearing some of it out, only having to turn around cuz all the other ones lol. Wish I got a picture of the ledge

After one to many time.... (or 20 to many... god... just plain to many times) of finding either acorns or nests in the air box... I finally decided to install a "AIARS".... Air Intake Anti Rodent System...

Figured I am in the middle of a rebuild of the '99 anyway so I might as well try to stop the little B@$##&$... hoping it works... between this Bucket Traps & my PCP's I'm hoping to keep them out...

That’s the one! I only drove a few feet across it before turning around. I talked to some hikers that came from the other side that warned me about the other so I was aware there wasn’t anything to gain.
There was a LJ on 37s or 40s that went over it. I talked to a girl on Facebook that was in the Jeep. She said they thought they were going over the side. Wasn’t a wise choice.

Yeah theres no way I was going over it without digging it out wide enough for the jeep. We wouldnt have gone through all that if we had known about all the other ones. Hoping for a smoother ride back. My rear end slid over the edge same for a guy following us in a Jku, but fortunately didn’t roll down the mountain. I’ll have to upload the videos of it.

I’m not a big fan of chrome but I liked the look of these on a Jeep. What I didn’t like is that they’re 10” wide and the backspacing stuck the tires out way far. I’m trying to be as least flashy as possible with this Jeep so the chromes gotta go.
I have a question. What year were LJ's and what year were LJR's?

@KennedyLJ two cans of SEM trim black and your LJ would look brand new. Nice ride.
LJs were 04-06 and I believe the LJRs were 05-06. Thanks by the way, I agree I gotta do something about the plastics. I’m thinking about getting new rubicon plastics for now.

I know it’s not much but I got into my Tj today [with khakis on] and went to church but I had thought that my fog lights weren’t working but lo and behold they do! With the help of the internet I figured out how to turn them on. I replaced a blown cigarette lighter fuse a while back? Same fuse? I also found a nice pair of half hard doors that are a very close match to Ripley. Lt Blue ext- agate int. Will have them painted when I do the whole truck this fall.

Bucket traps ARE the better mouse trap!
