TJ keeps blowing fuse number 16

I have 2002 tj, keep blowing fuse # 16 & getting codes 0031-0051 & 0136. It only happens when off roading. Any Ideas could it be a bare wire shorting out. Thanks

Inspect the wiring, yes. That's where I would start.

Fuse #16?
Do you have an export model?
This is for an '06, yours must be different.

The p0136 sounds like a wire shorting to ground, though.

I had the same problem. I also had an oil pressure sender that leaked oil into the wire connector. Turns out the oil had wicked up the wiring into the ECM connector and was randomly shorting. If you don’t have the oil problem then I agree it’s in the wiring.
