So i recently took out the back seats in my TJ and i was curious if any one has any cool ideas for the new amount of space i have. Cool storage things or any just out of the ordinary things that would be cool to do with the space i have now. Open to all suggestions.
 
Back seat, Hmmmm, I think I've got one of those in the garage someplace...

There's lots of cool ideas floating around for lockable cargo decks, storage drawers, cargo nets, racks & etc floating around for the backs of TJ's. The possibilities are endless, once you figure out what you are trying to accomplish.
 
Okay, I know there's a ton of guys on here with back seat storage options like @billiebob, @Serbonze, and so many others, hopefully they see this.

Crap, I would love to take out my back seat if it wasn't for the fact that we've got two kids carseats back there.

I think we need more direction than just "cool ideas". I mean, it would be cool to mount twin 50 cals back there but not very practical: :)

I have a 36 undermount toolbox bolted in. It's got lights and USB chargers in it as well. I am about to add an inverter as well.

So I have a dog but I wanted a spot for the toolbox, camera bag, map books, winchin stuff, sports bag, ... I built mine from 5/8 plywood with wood screws, I've had 2, one in my YJ for 15 years and now in my TJ for 6 years. All the top surfaces I covered with indoor/outdoor carpet.

The box is secured with the 2 rear seat bolts... both visible above.
