I actually got it this way. I was on the fence about it at first but the uniqueness has grown on me. It was done in Raptor Liner. It's a bed liner you can spray at home and tint with conventional paint tints to get any color you want. From what I have seen its pretty easy to apply and repair. How did you paint your TJ? Ignorance is bliss.I can't believe the PO was driving it around the way it was and just accepting it
Looking great!OK, so technically not just today, but I've been a little lazy in keeping up to date as I have been doing things for my HEMI swap..
I finished up the refresh on the engine, got a transmission and put in new filters and seals and cleaned it up, then today I did get it mated to the engine so it's pretty much now just waiting to be transplanted in the Jeep..

Also today I did strip my half doors to send them to my Buddy's body shop to get paint matched.
Just trying to stay productive while on home detention during the virus issue..

I’ll take some tomorrowPictures of the base.
Nice cut. Thats one of the better looking cuts I have seen out there.Replaced my junk Rough Country shocks with Rancho's and notched the rear spring perches so I don't put a fat dent in them like the old ones. View attachment 148451View attachment 148452View attachment 148453
Thanks! I was trying to make it look like it came that way. The straight cut looked too much like a hack job to me.Nice cut. Thats one of the better looking cuts I have seen out there.
Pic?
Try loosening the fender to grill bolts on both sides and see if you can get the adjustment you need. You could also loosen the rest of the body mount bolts and get a little more adjustment.I attempted a body lift but started at 9pm after a long (side hustle, now my only hustle) work day. My TJ is now my DD once again. I was finishing up my body lift. The last puck was the front/center location under the grill. However, the bolt hole doesn't line up and the bolt won't start threading in. I left the body mount out for the pic so it is easy to see the offset. The others were fine. See pics of the center puck as well as an example of the rest which are straight - front left.
Has anyone run into this?

You could have run them upside down.Replaced my junk Rough Country shocks with Rancho's and notched the rear spring perches so I don't put a fat dent in them like the old ones. View attachment 148451View attachment 148452View attachment 148453
