What did you do to your TJ today?

I actually found it on Amazon it's a Standard brand replacement:

I just hate that they clash with the factory switch that is right next to it. Not sure why someone cant knock-off the factory switches just right...

The texture is off, the button doesnt have a light indicator like the factory one does, the aesthetics and shape doesnt quite match up. That would drive me insane.

Yeah, I actually have a used factory one too, but it doesn't have an indicator light (not sure every year had that). As far as the texture, I agree and will probably be swapping it back!

I made a couple changes. Both are kind of subtle. The first is I added a 1.75 inch coil spring spacer to the front to level it out. I planned to take a before and after pic but got forgot the before pic. ooops
The second thing is LED tail lights with a Harley Davidson twist. :) I had a pair of lights that are for a StreetGlide. I made a simple bracket inside the stock tail light and just plugged them in.

WOW! 1.75" spacers to level it out? You had some serious sag up front and I would guess that your springs are shot.

Brought home Jeep from dealer - new upper CA's and ZJ steering made it ride like new. Gonna pat myself on the back - I've never done anything like the steering upgrade before, much less completely by myself. Feels like a bit of a milestone and was able to do it mostly because of this forum. Shout out @Chris again for creating a place that's so accessible to everyone from pros all the way down to people like me.

Also finished the hard top cart with carpet and popped the top off for the season. Thought it was strange that the rear glass hinges rest on the spacer blocks but overall I'm very happy with it.

I put $100 down on upgrading the differential gearing and installing a Detroit Truetrac in the rear differential.
This coming Friday I will have the differential gearing upgraded....
This vehicle is a daily driver with the occasional trail exploring.

On a side note.... California has stated that 208 State parks are closed to the public due to the spread of Covid 19.

I have a few quotes coming in for that very thing. I’m hoping I can get it done for $2K.

The grab handle is a New Century Manufacturing piece only available at Q-tec. The price was hard to get past but the paint rubbing off the OEM bothered me more. https://www.quadratec.com/products/51101_502.htm

I got the hinges from mrblaine. I believe they are a Prestige Billet item. https://www.prestigebillet.com/product-page/hood-hinges-tj-clear
These are what Ive been looking for! Thanks for posting this, new to me, source.

poison spyder hood louver install today. Getting ready for hot humid weather. One pleasant surprise and added benefit of the louvers that I did not expect or hear any talk about. It is more stable at speed. I drive my jeep daily. I could tell the difference in handling within a mile down the road. Not that it drove bad before but it is better now.

I don't know how to read. Pics would be greatly appreciated.
