Finally upgraded my stereo today. I had no idea what I was missing.

Speakers, a sub and an amp are on the list.

Well, this happened today.

Savvy Mid-Arm coming soon.

I still have to order a Belly up skid and a 1” MML and I will be out boarding the rear shocks too.

These parts will have to sit on the shelf until I can buy the rest. But this was a huge step.

Clutch issues today.

I Broke the retaining spring on the clutch fork. So since I have to drop the transmission I’m just going to replace everything.

On order: Luk clutch kit, luk complete slaver/master cylinder kit,Timken throw out bearing, Timken pilot bushing, Pioneer clutch Fork, new pivot ball and of course, new clutch fork retainer spring.

Talk to @pcoplin at full stack motorsports about tuned shocks for the outboard. I'm gathering much of the same parts right now for my build.

Can't wait to see it all together.

Just tagged various pictures and videos as a way to remember.

Plastic throwout, Timken cast replacement. Video of things working. Josey the lazy lab. Old clutch condition.

Front Frame brackets are in. I sure hope they are correct. I’d hate to try and cut these out.

On pic #2 you can see my exhaust is resting on the bracket. I’ve not seen anyone post about this before. Think it’s a problem? @mrblaine

Yes, that is a problem. Loosen the bolts at the manifold, push the exhaust up over the mount until the pipe going around the front of the oil pan is parallel to the ground or higher on the right side and tighten it back up.

@mrblaine are you saying where the down pipe connects to the manifold? Just above the cats? Or where the manifold bolts to the engine block?

@mrblaine

I had read were a 1” motor mount lift without a tummy tuck might cause oil starvation problems. So I skipped the MML until I do a TT.

Seems a MML would cure this exhaust issue. Without having to unbolt anything on the manifold.

I think I’m going to go ahead with a MML unless someone chimes in with experience on oil starvation.

Not many pics today but I’m VERY happy to say all the brackets are cut off! I’m so glad that’s done!

I still have some flap disk work to do but it won’t be bad.

This would have been in the instructions. Look at the top of the cast part of the diff. There is usually a seam or part of the casting that needs to be knocked down with a flap wheel so the arcs in the ends of the truss fit closer to the axle tubes themselves. That gap should go away.
