I just got back home. Winch hill kicked our butts so we decided to get some milkshakes and swim in lake apline instead of running DV. @Thunderhead I think you made a good call not joining. There were tons of people camping along the road to slickrock and even more near kings beach today.

From the looks of it the day group took a further right line than we were attempting.

On the way home I heard something fall from under the jeep. Turns out the guy who checked torque on all the bolts missed the TB (me). I'm happy I heard the noise and the TB didn't come loose on Ellis pass.

Did you guys have fun getting the toyota up winch will or did the long wheel base help? The stock XJ group left about 2hrs after you guys. It would have been fun to see them get up.

Super fun. I'd rate that obstacle harder than anything on the rubicon. At least the section we ran.

@Alex01 , are you happy with the performance with all your changes? Really bummed I couldn't make this one! :(
The midarm performed great. The biggest difference I noticed was that it doesn't load up as much before starting to climb. I also never felt tipsy but I never ran Slickrock without the midarm.

That says something being you didn't have a rear sway bar! Crazy at your TB bolt. That happened to me once years ago when I still had a stock TB. Left work for lunch and go just past the gates and got weird. Bolt was gone and the axle side of the TB was dangling!
