What did you do to your TJ today?

Today was a busy day. I installed the MORryde Tailgate Reilforcement Kit. Decided to remove the 3rd taillight. I will replace with something inside the space tire. Installed the replacement multifunction switch. I did use the fix for the fog lights but at some point a piece inside broke off and it prevented me from using the high beams. Finally, I installed my homemade tailgate table. It looks great and works perfectly. Thinking about adding a paracord to the left side for additional support.

Wow, I never had my brakes that bad throughout my life.
Funny thing is, there was still plenty of pad left, and i mean plenty. It's amazing what the salt on the roads does. I used to go to California and Texas a lot (pre covid) and I always marveled at the condition of the cars. I'd probably still have my first car if I lived out there. Here, rust determines when we get rid of something, not miles. Well, at least for stuff we drive in the winter.

Let's get this off of page 6.

I did the ol' drop the tank and sand the ridges off the roll-over float trick today. In the last month it was taking me 15-20 minutes to fill my tank. At least I was smart (bwahahaha!) yesterday morning and only put 4 gallons in for my commute. Made it a lot easier to drop the tank. Fortunately, I already have a motorcycle jack, that little hint helped out immensely.

I tell ya, the guys on this site will get ya spending a boat load of money, but the knowledge base here has saved me quite a bit as well. Thank you, all.
This has been on my list forever and I need to stop being lazy and get er done. Right after I empty this tank. 😬

Took the front driveshaft off, until the new custom Wood's X Spline and SYE kit come in.

Removed the fender flares to "renew" them with That Black Stuff, but forgot to get rubber gloves. So I'll get them tomorrow, and renew them tomorrow after work.

Velcro'ed the front floor liners to the floorboard to prevent them from sliding around, since i removed all the carpet.

Yesterday, I installed my new sound system. Thank you @Chris!!! That system sounds absolutely amazing!! The only thing I am adding is the remote bass control rheostat, because i listen to a variety of music from Toby Keith to Metallica! Oh and I went with the Kenwood KMR-D772BT Marine CD Receiver with Bluetooth head unit. I like it better than any other head unit I've ever had (including the Kenwood KDC-X399 I replaced). For being so little, that Kicker sub and amp are AMAZING!!

Do you still have a flip phone?
Cute pup.
We have a rescue about that big, he had a broken pelvis when we got him, when he runs his butt goes to the right like he needs an alignment

Luckily, mine only sheds twice a year. But each shed season lasts about 6 months!
We have one of those too, another rescue. Half collie, half Golden (as best we can tell). We clean daily and still have tumble"fur" when the doors are open. I think he sheds breeding fur, really.
