Added 33’s today and down went the power. Been reading different things and looks like I need to change my gears to 4:10 atleast. I do have a 6cyl with a manual 5spd. Also what about a cold air kit. Looking for anything to help get my torque and overall power back

You guys doing the gear swap yourself? Or taking it to a shop

i do but I have quite a bit of special tools and experience in order to do so. It is not a job that can just be thrown together. It takes time, patience, and typically multiple set up attempts to get it right.

Yet I run 33's on my rubicon and I cant complain.

I will say that 1st gear becomes a necessity though from a dead stop compared to stock 31's.

You have the 6 speed in your 2006, which makes 4.10 with 33's slightly more bearable than it would be with a 5 speed. Could still be a bit better with 4.56's with the 6 speed, but maybe not enough to warrant regearing from 4.10 to 4.56.

I felt my 4.56's were nearly perfect with 33's and the 5 speed, but I could have used 4.88 enough to where I think it would be the better ratio.

That your Rubicon came with 4.10 gears makes it easier to accept that combination. When I went to 33's maybe 20 years ago I stupidly ignored all the advice to go with 4.56 and regeared to 4.10 instead. Within a day I was kicking myself for the poor decision and not having gone with the advice of more experienced Jeepers to regear to 4.56. To this day I regret that decision and always do my best to help others not make the same mistake.

I will probably go with the 4.88 just in case one day I move up to 35s. Shops in south Texas want $1700-1900 for the gear swap, is that a decent price?

For just a gear swap that's a little on the high side compared to Southern California. I would keep shopping around.

Check your rear axle now to determine if you have the Dana 35 which in stock form is not up to 35's, or the optional Dana 44 which is up to running that big of a tire.

Basically the perfectly oval shaped Dana 35's differential cover has a rubber plug in the lube fill hole while the stronger Dana 44 with a more angular shaped cover has a threaded bolt in its fill hole.

Yep. I did 4.88 and 33s with the intention of moving up to 35s. Loved it on 33s. Now I am on 35s and really really wish I was deeper. Its hard to justify a regear going from 4.88 to 5.13. Even doing it myself...
