So i had a bad day putting my hardtop on.
Anyone ever sourced these clips before? These are what aligns the hardtop to the tub.

Where exactly do those go on the top? On my top, there are three bolts on either side that go into the rectangular nuts that sit under the tub rail. Do those clips replace one of those bolts? If they do I would be more inclined to just replace the clips with another bolt or forgo them altogether.
Those were not on my TJ OEM hard top, perhaps those are for an aftermarket hard top.
It could be an LJ thing. My OEM LJ top also came with those plastic clips.

I always found the bolts aligned the hardtop fairly well. 
How many you need? I have some, maybe four? I'd have to check. But I don't use them.

My 2003 factory hard top came with one alignment tab on each side. Maybe it was an addition when they made the changes to the 03+ hard top? I broke the left one off years ago, so they aren't all that important. Just make sure the front of the hard top is seated firm to the windshield frame.

Ya it is for an LJ. The bolts hold it tight but I find mine is a little misaligned.

Never seen them before, can't imagine why you'd need them. I always set mine on loose fit the 6 bolts, clamp the windshield header then tighten the 6 bolts, done. A bit of wiggling before tightening centers everything.
My 06 LJ stock hardtop has those. Sometimes it’s tricky to get them to pop in equally on each side
