Got these made today at work. They are 1" thick and 1.25" diameter. I know body lifts are cheap but the material and labor were free so đź‘Ť. My question is I've seen some of the kits with both ends flat and others with a chamfer at one end. Should I leave these flat or chamfer them? I'm aware I will have to move my fan shroud, possibly extend fuel filler neck, and possibly have trouble shifting into 4wd. Any other potential issues? I see some of the kits have a few small brackets that come with them, any idea what those may be for? Any thoughts, pointers, ideas, suggestions are appreciated.

Your filler neck should have plenty of room, just make sure to remove the screws holding it to the body before installing the lift. You can move the fan shroud (or get a 1" MML), you will need to re-adjust the transfer case linkage, but that should solve any issues you would have.
Nice work on the free BL (y) I have no idea about the chamfer. I would think only one side of each puck would need it just to allow it to fit into the body more easily and uniformly? Its been too long since i installed mine and I only vaguely remember it.

The brackets that come with a kit are for lowering the radiator and moving the transfer linkage bracket. Lots of options for a DIY fix.
I think you will also need to modify/replace the grill bumpers (one on each side).

And you'll need longer bolts.

The grill bumpers are something I have a question on. Are these something where I could use the stock ones and simply make an extension of some sort? I know what they look like and where they go, just not sure how they attach.

Thanks for the reply. That was the only reason I could think of but if I chamfer them and they fit more into the body that will affect my lift height if I'm thinking of this correctly.

IIRC, the bumpers have their own studs that screw into the grill. Instead of lengthening them, you could add a spacer/bumpstop to the frame.

Or buy this.

Looks like they just press in, no bolts.

Awesome đź‘Ś. Found a picture of exactly what I needed to know. Should be pretty easy to add something on the frame side to take up the gap but if not I'll just order a set of the longer ones. Thanks!

The M.O.R.E lift says it comes with a steering shift guide bracket. Any idea what that's for or what it corrects? Is it necessary?

It raises the bearing that the steering shaft runs through. Keeps the shaft centered in the firewall hole. Usually not necessary with a 1" BL.
For reference, my jeep came with a 2" BL and still did not have one.

To answer your original question I have the more body lift and both sides of the pucks are flat. Also never installed the steering shaft mount and it’s been two years no issues.

I have the steering riser on mine. I could barely tell a difference with or without. All I know is that the steering shaft is back to stock angles which can only help in its very very long term survival.
