Body lift options

So you dont really need a MML with a 1.25BL
Reason I chose to do MML was twofold. First, deals with fan / shroud alignment. But more importantly, as I plan a smallish SL I hope it will prevent vibrations without the need for a TC drop. If you are going much higher and therefore doing SYE and DC driveshaft anyway there is less reason to do one IIUC.

Here is a zone puck next to a savvy puck. The zone pucks seem to be a very hard reinforced polymer unlike the jks pucks. They would definitely break into pieces rather than deforming if taken all the way to yield. They are both 1.25 inches.

I've run poly body lifts for years and years, and never had any issues. They've been on everything from mall crawlers to mud trucks.
Same here. One of my old Jeeps has had the BL on it for 15 years now with no issues. I sold that one to a neighbor. People just repeat things they hear. I had a parrot that did the same thing and it got annoying really fast.

Try to break it and see what happens. Your Jeep will break into pieces easier than that puck.

I wasn’t suggesting the zone mounts are prone to breaking. I was saying that my prediction in the manner that they would yield in a destructive test of increasing pressure would be to suddenly break apart given how hard they are. It was meant to be an assurance for those who may be wary of the zone mounts squishing down like the polyurethane jks mounts. If I had no plans for this puck I would maybe think about hitting it with a big hammer for you.

That zone puck looks exactly like the hard 3"x3" body lift pucks I used to use and cut down as bump stop extensions.

I've seen pics of the broken plastic pucks. Catch a rock and the frame mount rolls over, crushing the puck. Do a nose dive off a ledge and a whole bunch will shatter at once. That is exactly why we have aluminum pucks. But this isn't a problem most will ever need to solve.

Poly, like JKS, is the bad one because it can never be tightened.
My Jeep has had the Daystar (poly) BL for over 9 years with no issues. It completely replaces the oem body mounts and has a sleeve to allow the bolts to be tightened.

will I need anything in addition to that kit?
You do not have to have a MML. The radiator or shroud can be moved to compensate for the body lift. The BL kit should also come with hardware to relocate transfer case linkage bracket.

...

Daystar and JKS are on opposite ends of the design spectrum given the use of the sleeve by Daystar.

The chances of that happening are about as probable as the border getting closed. 🤫
p.s Cheap drugs and prostitutes are included in the "Infrastructure package".
