kinda a random question, I'm trying to find a good build on 33s, but everyone with a good thread has 35s, any suggestions for a good thread for someone staying on 33s?

@jjvw has a very detailed thread on 33s and only went to 35s fairly recently. The same build aspect applies 33s vs 35s
Mine starts at the bare bones level to fit 33s while still maintaining stock suspension up travel. From there is gets more and more elaborate, for better or worse. 😂

Building for 33s, learning on 33s and when the time comes 35s are just a body lift away along with minor bumpstop adjustments

My 04 Rubicon is on 33s. The biggest tip I'd give you is buy good components so you only have to do things one time. Good for me has been stuff from Currie/Rockjock. You'll need springs, control arms, swaybar links, shocks, and track bars. Driveshafts and heavier steering gear are strong suggestions. I haven't done a tummy tuck, and I'm still running the stock skid plate. My lift is 4" - all suspension. One of the extras I added that I really like is the Savvy Transfer Case Shifter kit.

The only problem here is that a tummy tuck is so key to capability...and you need the BL for that. Maybe the extra spring lift makes up for the lower belly?

The real trick is asking...is he going to stay on 33's or eventually go to 35's with 33's as a stepping stone? There are two different answers (in my mind, anyway).

Agree about the tummy tuck being key. But you do not need a BL to do it. You can either clearance the tub or buy/make a low profile transmission mount (UCF makes one, called a "LOPRO").
