I will just say that if you aren't tracking your mileage over multiple tanks of gas with an app or *gasp* math, you aren't getting accurate numbers. Also obviously your gearing/tire combo needs to match your speedometer obviously.

If you couldn't feel much of a difference, you didn't do something right. The difference is huge. And throwing a rod is not common with them.

After you move to Ohio, I suggest a Magnum v8 because more than enough power and the wiring is much simpler.
