    You asked for it 🤣🤣

    Turbo 4 Liter

It's a DB25, but so far it has worked great. I'm not a serious user, I just needed basic functionality for trail rides and such.

Best Aftermarket Head And Valvetrain Replacement?

Haha, I literally bought my stroker and Edelbrock head from Russ on the back patio of a Twin Peaks after a "long" lunch.

    Turbo 4 Liter

I only made the two for my rig so far. I will probably make a larger run of them when and if the current work slows down. I'll let ya know when I do.

    Turbo 4 Liter

I did a small Cobra CB and a Radioddity GMRS. I also did an overhead switch panel. It is a bit over the top. Looks like a DC10 in there at night.

    Turbo 4 Liter

I was working on the radio mount bar I made today and quickly realized that the stock hand screws that hold the door surrounds on weren't long enough to go through the radio mount and still grab threads. Also when I tried to tighten one of them the plastic head popped off. I decided to cut...

    Questions about thermostat change

OEM or Gates premium is all I will use.

    Side Mirror Repair

The will come apart some. The nut on the bottom of the door mount will release the swing arm. There is a spring in there and some washers and the arm will pull up and out. You may have to use some heat and penetrant to get it moving. The mirror flag will unscrew from the swing arm if you...

    Side Mirror Repair

I was about to do the same thing the other day until I realized that replacement mirrors were $25 a side. I would have had double that in blasting and powdercoat. Granted they're not OEM, but OEM was crap anyway.

    Urgent Clutch Help!

I have called them much worse names when the trans is all bolted up and I find them sitting on my bench.

Reasons not to use a poly body lift

I spent an hour or so yesterday removing what was left if the lift as well as replacing the body mounts with a Crown master kit. Everything went surprisingly smooth. I also replaced the fan parts as well as a new water pump and thermostat. The mount spacers that were left.

    BL and MML Build Check

Use an aluminum or rigid material for the lift. Also make sure the kit has spacers or longer rubber bumpers for the corners of the grille support. I would also recommend a steering shaft riser bracket to straighten out the steering shaft angle. Also there are different length bolts for the...

Reasons not to use a poly body lift

I think the poly gave up half way through and the kit began to uninstall itself.

    Turbo Kit Test TJ

The lag is basically a function of the turbo sizing, big turbo = more lag. That's a bit of an oversimplification, but a properly sized turbo will have little lag without choking on the top end. This turbo is sized to have reasonably quick spool up while providing a smooth transition into...

Reasons not to use a poly body lift

Not much surprises me anymore. Once you have seen things like two car halves put together with sheet metal screws you will never be the same again.

Reasons not to use a poly body lift

I have no way of knowing. They were installed by the previous owner and possibly even the previous previous owner.

    Turbo Kit Test TJ

I want to keep the costs as reasonable as possible. I'm carefully selecting the components that are good quality without going overboard. The boost will probably be set around 5-7 psi. That should be more than enough to make mid 200s. My other Jeep made just under 240 whp at 5 psi on a...

The injectors I am using are available in the EV1 and USCAR connectors and are 60mm full length.

    Turbo Kit Test TJ

HP is the best option available for this type of kit IMO. It can be made to run very well with a few tweaks. I'm mocking it up on the 2000 model year. I believe that the accessories on the passenger side of the engine remained the same from 2000-2006. The 1997-1999 guys may have to move...

    Turbo Kit Test TJ

I guess it depends on your definition of affordable. It will be quality, but those parts do come at a cost. It will however be considerably cheaper than a stroker or engine swap. I'm going to mock it up without the body lift first. Then I will probably install the extra body lift and engine...
