    Red exhaust manifold

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought the PCM still needed to see the downstream O2's despite the cat's being present or not.

Bussmann Auxiliary Fuse and Relay Module Installation

The one caveat to this though is to prevent a fire from a crushed winch wire on a head on impact. In my last Jeep I had both winches wired to high amp relay so that power wasn't always available all the way to the winch. Maybe excessive, but a bit of peace of mind I think.

Nice! I was just looking at their stuff today actually. Looks like a great product!

    NSG370 vs 42RLE

Not to interrupt but I was under the impression wrangler fix only fixes the heat issue in the PCM. They are also offering program changes?

This definitely got my interest in searching more for the details!

Getting TJ ready for daily driving, LJ for weekend fun - not a rock crawler

I recall during install of the currie lift there were a few places that required drilling out some holes to a larger option for the greasable bolts. I thought I saw another thread on this topic a couple days ago but I'm not seeing it now. One particular hole was the frame side front track bar...

JJ's are definitely more harsh. It's physics. Standard arms have a bonded rubber bushing on both ends. And it has a lower angle of the control arm so bumps are soaked up more by the shocks and springs. JJ's have no rubber in them - well maybe a small piece with a very hard durometer. With a...

Getting TJ ready for daily driving, LJ for weekend fun - not a rock crawler

Yeah I know... it's really not great. I have some milkshake starting on but I'm confident it is condensation and not coolant. Like you I also change oil frequently. I always try to let it warm up and hit the highway to burn off any condensation and get things moving, but thats why the LJ...

Getting TJ ready for daily driving, LJ for weekend fun - not a rock crawler

Yeah good point... I work from home most of the time. The office is 3 minutes away, I go usually once a week. Other than that I run to the store for groceries and such, another 3 minutes away. Usually 2-4 times a month I have to run to town which is 60 miles one way. It kinda sucks in the...

Getting TJ ready for daily driving, LJ for weekend fun - not a rock crawler

I dont want the rock jock suspension anyway. The LJ will stay on stock control arms and get a 2" OME lift just for a little extra clearance. The JJ's are far too harsh and noisy for me. My TJ has way too much significant value to sell. I would sell the LJ first but I like both of them. My...

Getting TJ ready for daily driving, LJ for weekend fun - not a rock crawler

Good morning all! Man do I love all these forums, such great sources of information. Been poking around a lot here and the other one before some of us older folks migrated and it appears I am out of my "TJ game" having kinda neglected the G.E. the last 5 years. Anyway, I am working on...

The Old Man Jeep (a '06 LJ build)

Well it sure is nice to see some familiar names! It's been some time since being a part of a TJ forum but I am back after some years of life events. Over the years I had the joy of working on a few different builds. From my original TJ...

What did you do to your TJ today?

That post is how I saw the other one by @Gavidoc. But I was curious if anyone has added a LED into the GCD switches since they don't have one for the diagrams. Moving the rocker to the OEM switch looks pretty simple, but I figured adding one might require opening the circuitry of the GCD...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Has anyone ever tried to just add a LED to the GCD switches?

What did you do to your TJ today?

Oh I agree on the backlight. Still gonna go with the OEM switches, I'm just talking specifically about the rocker itself, to put onto the OEM switch. GCD doesn't seem to have as many options but you can tell they are laser etched, these other ones I can't quite tell.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Yeah I was just looking for some of them earlier. Worth it though to start stockpiling parts. Any experiences with the On Board Air brand? They seem to have more options but its hard to tell if they are actually laser etched like GCD. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3R4YGS4/?tag=wranglerorg-20

What did you do to your TJ today?

This is AWESOME! I have been trying to figure out how to do this for so long! But, can an OEM switch still be found? Is there a way to modify the one they make to have two lights? So strange they only added one 'on' light.

    Greetings all!

Thought I would introduce myself here. Thanks to @TheBoogieman for letting me know about this forum. I have been a decently long member of another forum but took a several year break with life events. I find myself back. I have a pretty cool 06 TJ G.E. that I purchased in cira 2012 that has a...
