Bumper paint: Enamel vs. Lacquer vs. Epoxy

Epoxy by far the best. SPI makes some great black epoxy that doesnt need a top coat. Just expensive "You do not need to top-coat our epoxy on frames, wheel wells, firewalls or suspension components" Sounds like UV would be an issue though based on the parts it recommends.

Oh snap lol. That is interesting, good find. Time to experiment. Atleast this checks off a box if the routing doesn't solve the issue.

    Overheating after supercharger install

Looking at your diagram, I have some concerns. The outlet of the pump I think, should attach to the top of the heat exchanger that way gravity will bring the coolant down and cool it. The bottom of the heat exchanger should go to the front port of the cooler and the back should go to the tank. I...

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Media blasted base aluminum, 80 grit with the dual action sander followed by SPI waterborne grease and wax remover and 3 coats of SPI Epoxy. Could add some high build primer after the epoxy for any deep scratches you would want to fill in as well.

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Just painted my sliders to body match after running them raw for a couple months. Decided to paint after repairing some body damage and painting the tub. Totally agree, wait until after you get your other parts.
