It’s my first winter with my TJ and the salt here in Ohio wrecks havoc on them. So if I gotta do the work I may as well do it now and word it as winter down time. While it’s on stands there will be less of an impulse to drive it.

I continued to disassemble the front drive assembly by removing the hubs. I’m getting ready to replace the front end wearables during the winter down time. And I will also be installing an old man emu lift.

Well I’ve decided to bite the bullet! I have an Old Man Emu 2.5” heavy lift on the way!

Thank you for your feed back and honesty. It had the body lift when I bought it last year and looked into having it removed. As I was told by my local Jeep specialist “you are better off not removing it”! And hello from Toledo to you and your wife.

Thanks for the info. It’s the same with the original ECU and the new ECU so I’m in the process of swapping out the new ECU under its warranty. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome.
