    Antirock on Amazon for $353.80

Thought I missed out on this sale, but Amazon had another one left this afternoon! Trends Auto was the seller.

Time to update the TJ: Anything else I should consider?

Which parts of the frame did you end up fixing? Just the rails under the skid plate, or did you do the rear/front trail arms? SafeTCap or Pocono Metal Craft? Got any pics of the frame work done? A lot of questions, I know, but I'm in a similar situation!

    Handling / steering issues fixed!

Glad to hear you got things sorted out! I'm slowly fixing all the issues contributing to my Jeep's tendency to wander. I defintely need to take a look at the rear trackbar now.

    Determining Priorities

The resto dept just the steam cleaned the engine bay. I had caked on oil everywhere due to a valve cover gasket leak the PO never fixed. The undercarriage on my Jeep was just covered in mud which I pressure washed off.

    Determining Priorities

I took the lazy way out and had the local Jeep dealership clean the engine bay when I had the Jeep in there for some other service. Service department initially said they don't do it, but after some convincing by me thanks to this forum, service finally found out the restoration dept would clean...

I have the same issue...but it started after my turn signal switch was replaced with a new unit. I think the unit was faulty from get go.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Amazon was out of stock when I went to order. O'Reilly's was the next cheapest at $233 (tax included and free shipping) for all four. Plus I got a $5 O'Rewards card. Roughly $178 in the end which was a few bucks cheaper than Amazon.

What did you do to your TJ today?

PO installed some Bilsteins that were too long on rear and the front had what I think were the original shocks, so my Jeep had a jarring ride. I picked up some Rancho RS5000x shocks on sale at O'Reilly's (plus a $50 rebate from Rancho) and had the auto shop on base install them for $172. (I...

    What's everyone's gas mileage?

Roughly the same here, 2000/4.0L/3.07/5sp manual/32" tires and I've been getting 13-14ish mpg around town since Jan with a new to me Jeep. I did notice an increase of 1 mpg with a plug change recently and am consistently above 14 mpg. I don't really care about the actually number, but use the...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed new yellow H3 LED bulbs in my OEM foglight housings. I had some better pictures but they were corrupted some how. The attached pic doesn't do the yellow any justice. Also clear coated my new set of Rancho 5000x shocks. Hope to get them on later this week!

What did you do to your TJ today?

Nothing picture worthy, but replaced spark plugs with a new set of Autolite XP-985's and got my stock foggies working again (bad fuse).

Who doesn't use their back seat?

For my JK the back seat was too clumsy and a pain to remove, so I only took it out for wheeling trips. I kept the TJ seat in because I kept my half door uppers behind the seat. After reading this thread and realizing no one ever sits in the back, I ditched the backseat. I was surprised at how...

Explain Your Avatar / Forum Name

My forum name is my Jeep's name. My wife and daughter name all our vehicles, such as T4R named "Kate" after a previous owner. They aptly named the 2000 TJ "Millie" for millenium. I couldn't counter with a better name, so it stuck.
