    Suggested upgrades for new Jeeper?

Open diffs are actually capable of doing most things people consider wheeling with a capable driver. limited slip would probably be the best compromise between open and full time lockers and as long as you don’t completely lift a wheel off the ground you’re in good shape Full time lockers are...

    Suggested upgrades for new Jeeper?

Since 2 people already voted against the Bedlined interior I’ll go ahead and say it’s horrible. Heat and noise is insane. Any road noise and engine noise just drone in the cab. I just replaced my factory carpet with bedtred and if I had to do again I’d just get a good Essex carpet. For what you...

    Best replacement mirrors?

One of the first things I did to my Jeep is moved to the newer model mirrors. I had the old style on a yj I had and knew what a fight they were.

    New carpet options?

I am very disappointed in the bedtred. The fitment was terrible. It’s not very sturdy and it just isn’t worth it. I can now only fold and tumble the rear seat if someone presses the bedtred against the tub as I fold the seat. Would not recommend

Starting to collect parts for my 5.3 swap

I’ve read that the 4cyl dash will work with a 5.3 except the tach. 1.25 body lift and 3”suspension lift already installed. 2.5 is still in and still driving which is why I’m trying to do parts that I can run until I’m 100% ready

Starting to collect parts for my 5.3 swap

so I got a better deal on my motor. A guy I work with had a 5.3 with full harness, ecm, pcm, etc. It’s being rebuilt now. I’ve purchased the super35 kit from revolution but haven’t purchased a carrier yet. I’m wanting to go with an e-locker but heard Eaton has been having issues right now and am...

    Which Tires Would Be Best?

I know when I was looking for tires for my old jk treadwright made some awesome recaps with what they call a kedge grip (ground up nutshells in the rubber compound that made them absolutely grab on wet surfaces) you may give that a try.

    Project Pony Boy

I was really worried about that myself. I was already on a 275/65/18 a/t (32/11.50) and was really worried about the 2 extra inches really bogging me down along with being a pretty aggressive 10 ply tire causing road noise and giving a rough ride but I swear that is has caused absolutely no Ill...

    Project Pony Boy

So I woke up this morning and found a present from the fiancé. Traveler 9500 lb winch! Then found 4 Mastercraft m/t tires (295/70r18) (34x12) tires on Facebook for next to nothing. Fitting them in the Jeep wasn’t so easy. It’s been a good day

Jeep names: What are your names and how did you decide?

I don’t think it would be any kind of challenge to paint yourself and was my original plan but I have a friend that does paint and auto body and offered to do it and pull dents and perfect the body with no bondo for $500. I couldn’t say no, just because I knew he’d do a good job and it saved me...

Any suggestions on restoring door handles?

I’ve done both replace and repaint. The replacements were off amazon and pretty cheap as I recall. Install was like an hour for both with half doors with the help of my small handed fiancé. Paint used bumper and trim specific paint and it held up really well. Has a little bit of rubbery feel to...

Rear left tire sticks out an inch wider

I could be wrong but I thought there was an issue with an adjustable rear track bar making contact with skids

    Seat Risers

I’m glad Blaine mentioned this. I saw on the forum where someone mentioned rubber seat risers and how they somewhat isolated vibrations and bumps. I just installed tiburon seats and they sit an inch or so lower than my 99 seats did.

Making my Jeep Wrangler TJ more comfortable

I’ve actually already begun the same thing. The op messaged back pretty quickly but I’d already begun brainstorming 🤔

How to install Hyundai Tiburon seats in a Jeep Wrangler TJ

I assume this is the bracket you’re talking about. Did you tie directly into the slider?
