Possible solutions for water leaks on passenger side

Specific to a 99 Wrangler Sport with AC, 4.0. But probably carryover to other years and models.... All the things I addressed to finally get it stopped, some likely not the problem, but all were potentially issues and I am sure there was a combo assault, as I got the leaking from one area to...

1999 Wrangler Power Steering Pump Done Bad Pulley Parts Numbers etc

1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Power Steering was getting a bit goofy. Surging, intermittent power, and so forth. Figured the pump was going, and then came a death rattle. Pulley went to hell, which I have never seen before, but who knows... Went ahead and replaced the belt since it came off on the...

New guys question about my front lower control arm

If you measure the thread size on the adjustable threads it will tell you what size they are. Then there are several makers that you can buy the whole end from. No need to rebuild your old parts. and... I believe Rokmen makes a arm that has a JJ at one end and a Clevite bushing at the other...

Free, cheap, & low cost mods for your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Hmmm....this may be so esoteric as to be annoying, however since it happened to me, it will happen to someone else....Not really a mod, but certainly a free fix on a critical part... Assuming your issue is the "everything electronic runs in accessory mode, and nothing runs with engine running"...

New guys question about my front lower control arm

Just a play on the lighting of the picture. It is solid. It is a place where the patina, for some reason, has been burnished off a bit.

Floorboard heat and spark plugs and who knows

Added note.....as someone above suggested, I pulled the shift console up and just had a peek under for the heck of it. Big open hole. Where shift lever comes up from top of trans into the cab. Probably used to be something there. A rubber flap or whatever. No longer. I covered it with a piece...

Jeep won't start after replacing starter

Once spent hours, and beers, (after replacing the plugs, wires, rotor, on a VW bug). Trying to get the thing to start. Wouldn't do it. Re ran wires, re-installed plugs, re-gapped plugs, adjusted valves, adjusted points, adjusted everything. Ran battery completely dead twice. Cussed everything in...

New guys question about my front lower control arm

I am looking at the Teraflex products, as most of the suspension appears to be that. Not finding a match, so far....

New guys question about my front lower control arm

Ok, here are pictures of my front control arm, driver side. I need to replace the bushing on the rearward / threaded end. However, I am assuming this is all aftermarket install, and there is no markings, stickers, stampings or the like that I can see to identify a maker. Would like to purchase...

Will 33s fit with no lift?

Good, I hate to win every time.... I do like the give and take, even with the cantakerousness. I am on 35's, and really want/need to go down to 33's. I have all the necessary lift and so on for the 35's, but I really, really think 33's are better for me, all around, based upon the real life...

Water leaks on passenger floorboard (maybe not the A/C drain?)

we are going to call this one a fix. From this... to this... Been driving around in, and having Jeep parked in, rain all day. No water intrusion, post Flex Seal. I will continue to monitor, and if it blows up in my face, will report back here....

Water leaks on passenger floorboard (maybe not the A/C drain?)

first fix tried, no good in this case. But, likely a necessary add on anyway.

Water leaks on passenger floorboard (maybe not the A/C drain?)

Quick fix, no idea on the duration of the fix or if it will work short or long term. But , I had a can of Flex-Seal "liquid rubber in a can" laying around. It did seal the gaps where the lines ran in. I coated the entire foam piece and so on... when it dries and sets, will go back and clean up...

Water leaks on passenger floorboard (maybe not the A/C drain?)

Ok, so the cowl vent was NOT the issue. Glad I took care of it, due to the leaves and trash accumulated in it, and so it would not become the problem. But, light rain came and a little bit of water puddling up in the floorboards again. So..., got to looking around on the forums and google. Lots...
