Stroker options: plain remanufactured or low mile junk yard?

4.6 with 270hp and 320lb.ft IIRC. It comes with valve cover down to oil pan and everything in between dynoed and re torqued. It is a big chunk of change but well it is for a toy I like to keep around for awhile and be safe and reliable.

Stroker options: plain remanufactured or low mile junk yard?

Trying to minimize work on my end and increase reliability at the same time. LOL Less people involved getting stuff done and less of me running around, I realize things tend to get done quicker.

Stroker options: plain remanufactured or low mile junk yard?

That is awesome. 00-01 has slightly different block for accessories makes finding replacement difficult.

Having multiple issues after stroker motor install

Just a thought, maybe source another IAC and check? I have gotten a few faulty Mopar electrical parts from dealers over the years. If you got old ones, try those (both TPS and IAC) and see if anything chnages? Check spark plugs? Coil packs? Why Titan? I am also looking to do a stroker...

Stroker options: plain remanufactured or low mile junk yard?

I picked up a new to me XJ but I want to pull out the old motor and not have to worry about it next how long. 180K miles on it but the previous owner said "he" rebuilt it. I take that as grain of salt and not gonna put my family through some uncertainty when overlanding hundreds of miles from...

    Rear Main Seal Replacement (4.0)

I take that back. 1200 dollars for doing rear main seal and clutch sounds like a very good deal. I have a write up in that somewhere too.

Install Report: Yukon YA-WU-08 Manual Hub Conversion Kit and VANCO 16” Big Brake Kit

Not trying to revive old thread but rather recycle with different Qs. If I have an old Vanco 16 brake kit and NOS Warn hub kit, what parts would I need to make them work? @mrblaine

    Rear Main Seal Replacement (4.0)

I wrote the guide about 13 years ago today. Having said that, my TJ is still leak free since the write up. With regards to the seal, the seal cannot be offset. At least the one I had. I suppose the idea has stemmed from wanting to have a different location where the seals mate along with...

    Drilling, painting holes and rivnuts

Hi guys, Just wondering how many of you paint the holes you drilled on the body? Do you paint holes that you drilled prior to installing Riv-nut? If you have a choice, would you go with larger Rivnut vs smaller Rivnut for the same bolt size? Installing corner guards now wondering if there...
