Sorry, should have been clearer. The under side of the tub. Planned on pulling the tub when I do it. I’ve used the POR 15 before and had good results. I plan to do the under side with at least the POR 15, and I prefer the idea of having the heat protection between the source and the sheet metal.

I disagree on the shock boots. They will help to keep stuff off the rod. Just have to realize they aren’t a perfect seal and clean under them once in a while and any time you’ve had it in deep water and mud.

The side marker light grounds through the turn signal filament on the front marker/turn signal bulb. Normally, putting voltage on the turn signal element of the 3157 should cause the side marker light to turn off.

Were you putting in LED or just a regular amber bulb?

I am thinking of painting the bottom of my tub with POR15 and Lizard Skin. Has anyone else done this? Any tips? Also, a question for the guys running a tummy tuck, what are you running for muffler and tail pipe? I have the Rokmen tummy tuck and stock type muffler is practically against the tub.

With some research, I would bet you can find the connector and just replace that. I’m guessing replacing the harness would be a major PITA.

Has anyone figured out why the LM470 works fine with some TJ’s and others have problems with the hazard lights blowing the fuse?
