Thanks for the input everyone. The recommended guy in my area for doing gears has closed his shop. He was tired of working 80 hrs a week. I guess it's time to find someone else and get 4.88s (damn that sounds steep) and maybe look at lockers.

Mine is an 05. Tuffy SKU: 055-01 with the sub. I respect any company that doesn't allow weapons also. I respect them so much I won't give them my money.

I avoid places that don't let me carry if it's at all possible. If I don't have any choice I goes in my Tuffy center console. That was actually the first upgrade I did.

I'm not sure how to remove it but I'm curious why you need to remove it. I've been thinking about lining my tub. I figured if I didn't like it I could just cover it with new carpet.

I have one similar for my best top trek top nx. It attaches through slots in the door surrounds.

I'm running 32" tires (actually 31.5") in western NC mountains. It needs lower gears for sure but for most of my driving it's fine. Driving I-26 from SC to NC that climbs about 1000' in a few miles is irritating as hell but most places are fine.

No mine isn't chipped so I'm going to change it.

I liked the added option but not if any key that slides in will work. Now I need to find a lock cylinder that'll work with my key without breaking the bank.

Well I installed my bumper and winch the other day. Really happy with both. The winch has only been used to drag trees from the woods that were hung up in other trees. The bumper look great and is solid as it can be, real happy with DirtWorx overall. FedEx not so much but that was another problem.

Changed my spark plugs, they were definitely over due. They were supposed to gapped at .035 two were over .080 and the rest were over .060.
