Speedometer Out JB Conversions SS SYE

So I put the JB Conversions Super Short SYE on my 05. Worked, have a SpeedoHealer that adjusted it to my 35’s. Speedometer stopped working, disconnected SpeedoHealer and went direct from sensor to harness, and still nothing. I know it would be “off” due to 35’s, but should not be zero. So...

    Anyone Know This Logo?

Does anyone recognize this logo? I’m looking for an apparently tough to find part, and this logo is stamped on 2 that I’ve seen. Lot of general experts here, thought someone might recognize it.

Anyone used these monster hooks on their bumper?

I’m curious if anyone has used these recovery hooks. The Jeep I just bought has 4, and they’re $225+ each. I have four Jeeps right now and this one I’m gonna turn, but these hooks are massive and wasn’t sure if they’re good equipment. Any experience? I know a general thought is use soft etc...

So I’ve got a SS SYE from JB Conversions with the tone ring. I have the Heal Tech and it’s worked for a while. Drove home from from airport after it being parked there and this, no speedometer and then no odometer movement. Need to get down and diagnose, just haven’t been able to yet. Anyone...

Yeah, TJ's can be pricey (my spend list)

So, my wife does not come to this site (or even know it exists), which is good. I put together a log book for all of the work done, so I have that and now a build thread. Few days ago, a guy asked "How much?" I said you can't afford it, ha. He said try me. Made me think, could I get a low...

    Currectlync Slight Bend

So this is available used with a slight bend. Curious, has anyone straightened one of these Currectlync’s? For $100 it would be a pretty good backup if I could straighten it was my thought.

    Largest R15 Mud Tires (tallest)

I cannot find a tire larger than 35” Muds for a 15” rim. If I look to go to a 37 (on my TJ but probably more my CJ5) will I have to replace my rims with 17’s? I won’t be doing that, ha. I can’t find any, but they may be out there.

Axle u-joint: is axle nut mandatory?

Random question, but I’ve pulled the axle without taking off the axle but a couple times, for other projects. I’m replacing axle U Joints and wondering if it’s absolutely necessary to pull the axle nut etc? I’ll do it, but just wondering if anyone has easily done the u joints without...

Left Front Wheel or Brake Clunk

This is a video I took. This sound really came up when I was wheeling in December. Rolling down the driveway and braking the sound happens, but it doesn't just happen when braking, it happens when I let out the clutch, and over some bumps etc. I replaced the ball joints after that trip, and...

Is The Savvy UAM Late Under Armor For Manual Transmissions Coming?

Just curious if anyone has heard of this is a possibility for coming anytime soon? I have Savvy CA’s, Shifter, and BL and MML already, don’t really care to hear complaints about CS, I wait for quality in Guns, Optics, Jeeps and Bourbon, don’t care if they call me quickly. Just not a thread for...

Recovery hooks (or is bumper a viable option?)

Looking to spend the Christmas presents, ha. I ordered TRE Recovery Equipment to upgrade soft shackles and snatch rope vs the tow straps I have now. 05 came with a Smittybilt Winch. Rear recovery I ordered the hooks that @Jerry Bransford suggested on other threads and my install option will...

    Manual clutch bouncing when released

I've got the 6 speed NSG370 in my 2005. 2 years ago it was rebuilt, all new clutch fork, ball, spring, etc. I've also got the NSG370 in our 2008. The 2008 the clutch has always 'bounced" a little, like the pressure isn't consistent etc. My 2005 is starting to do it, and it's very annoying...
