The visual difference is pretty drastic looking from the front. With the lift you could stand in front and see most of the suspension without even bending down. Now, it’s hidden for the most part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You might be right about that but the ground clearance thing is also impacted by tire pressure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This compromise worked for me because I wanted a less tippie Jeep one that was easier to get in, and lose as little ground clearance as possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No other lift components. I’ll try to simplify this. The lowest hanging item is the differentials. Going from a 33 to 31 brings the differentials 2 inches closer to the ground thus a loss of 2 inches of ground clearance. The suspension lift was 5 inches plus a 1 1/2 inch spring spacer on top of...

The difference between a 33 inch and 31 inch tire equals 2 inches. You add the 5 inch drop from returning to stock plus the 2 inch drop with the tire change and you get 7 inches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A lot of guys name their Jeeps. I have never considered doing that until now. I might consider naming it TROUBLEMAKER Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree It might be an interesting discussion but in my case it would not have changed anything. As I previously said, I liked how the lift performed and it was tested. I didn’t return to stock because of any lift shortcomings. I in fact was happiest with the Jeep lifted when off road. I never...

I chose to return the Jeep to stock not because the lift was incorrectly installed by some dummy. I have a bad knee and the tires created a ride I hated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In this picture the high side tire is doing nothing for you but if it’s full droop is causing the stuffed tire to rub it seems to me that you would have been better off with a limit strap to stop the rub. Obviously if there had been a rock under that high side tire you would want to reach it...

In your experience how much of a rubbing issue can be affected by tire pressure . Is the puked out sidewall the first thing to rub? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not to open up a can of worms but would a limit strap used to control full droop possibility be an aid to help with this issue? Just spit balling here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
