    New Falken Wildpeak M/Ts

4,000 miles and I'm still impressed! 11 inches of snow, semi-serious mud and some fairly easy trail riding and the tires did great! I'm not set up for rocks and I haven't been in any "grit your teeth and hold on" mud, but the tires have performed great every day. Still smoother and quieter than...

    Thoughts on Detroit Tru Trac?

Yes, a "moderate" trail would be the absolute limit because I have to drive my Jeep to work. Can't afford to break my transportation!!

    Thoughts on Detroit Tru Trac?

Disconnects are planned, airing down is easy, still learning how to choose lines. My front lunchbox concern was for snow/ice covered roads. They are a non-issue when in 2wd. Tru Trac both ends looks like where I'm headed as soon as I sell my motersickle. Thanks for the input.

    Thoughts on Detroit Tru Trac?

Anybody running Tru Tracs on both ends? Seems to be a good idea for me. Daily driver that goes off road rarely. Selectables are not in the budget, lunchboxes can get scary on road. Dana 30/35 will have chromoly at least in the rear. Thanks.

Still Loving the tires! Had them in 10 inches of snow and a few inches of mud, cleaned out good and kept asking for more. Good road manners in the rain and surprisingly quiet and smooth. Still a little early (only 1600 miles) but so far I have no complaints.

    CB or VHF?

Cost and performance. Which is better? I have zero experience with either one.

    Hi / low beams switched

Yep, switched the wires now everything's good! But, one would wonder how they got switched?!?!

    Hi / low beams switched

Thanks. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow. I wouldn't bother with it, but I'm considering a lighting upgrade this summer.

    Hi / low beams switched

So I can look at a wiring diagram and switch two wires at the drivers side headlight? I thought (hoped) it would be something simple....or would it be easier to just rotate the headlights?

    Hi / low beams switched

Been that way since I bought it. The high beams come on, but the high beam dash light goes off. Just a little irritating driving with my little blue dash light on.

    Hi / low beams switched

04TJ I've had for over a year. My "high beam" dash light comes on when my low beams are on. Is it as simple as rotating my bulbs 180 degrees? They appear to be factory lights.

33-12.50. Not loud at all. Actually kinda surprised at how quiet they are. However, if you ask me that a few thousand miles from now I'm pretty sure you'll get a different answer.

Yea Yeah, not much, but some. Had them on wet roads twice, a lot more traction than my worn out KO2s.

Falken Wildpeak MT's. Heard a lot of good things about the AT's, but I'm just an MT kinda guy. So far I love'em, but only 300 miles all on pavement. Maybe tomorrow or Monday I'll get to try them in the snow!! It'll be at least a month before I get to try them off-road...unless I hit the lottery.
