Just made this post out of frustration. I'm about 22k into a 2002 tj X and it's looking like a transmission is now being needed.

Anybody else feel like these TJs cost may more than theyre worth?

I've been posting alot lately but those forum has been helpful and I'm just trying to get all this stuff fixed on the TJ. Went to out it in 4wd and the handle lifted up and nothing happened. After looking at the transfer case linkage it's pretty rusted and the cable is screwed up. Not sure...

Thanks I bought a hardened 10mm at rural king. Only difference between thar one and the one in your picture is the narrow tip part at the end of the bolt

Thank you clarifying. The riser is what I thought was a bushing. So that bolt just bolts into the frame without a nut on the other end? And that is the exact bolt I need. Can you tell me how long it is, thread type etc. I know it's 3/8 in diameter. Thank you for all the help

I need a motor mount bolt for a 2002 TJ 6.0 drivers side. The one that bolts into the frame. Anybody have any idea what size this bolt is?

I'm going to install an after market sound system for the TJ. Anybody have any links the can share to products that fit and sound well for the tj trunk area? Looking to put 2 10' subwoofers back there and was wondering if anyone had any luck with a certain subwoofer box ?

I did not. Since if it was a new crate engine I figured that was ok compared the probability of an after market part as a coil going bad etc.

2002 4.0 I just found a small spring unhooked under there. I'm going to hook it up and see if that helps. Gotta wait foe it to cool off first

Have already tried the neutral thing. It does seem to help if I go to neutral first then back in gear but it still.does it just not as bad. But it makes it rough to have to put it into neutral at every stop sign. Also alot of.time from.park to reverse it will kill the engine even. Fluids are good

I've noticed a high RPM hard shift for a while and when it's cold if I put it in reverse the engine dies. The mechanic who brought this to my attention is going to look at it next week. He says the torque converter is not disengaging. From what I gather jeep only made this engine 1 year. 2002...

Po306 finally fixed. Thanks for all the advise. Turns out that I had a bad coil pack. I had already replaced it but the new aftermarket one was bad. Added new coil pack. I've driven it 100 miles and it seems to be fine

It's the only code. Sometimes it will say multiple misfire but it's cylinder 1. Once the jeep cools off its back to just po306 cylinder 6 misfire always
