    Nitto Ridgegrappler alternative

So I got a call from my shop yesterday that nitto does not make the ridgegrappler in 33x15x10…which really sucks because I was quiet set on those tires. The wheels are already here so no changing that. I looked at the duratrac and Cooper St maxx, I'm 90 percent of my driving will be on road and...

Thanks, that's what I was also told by the head mechanic at the shop installing my lift. I plan on doing exactly what you said.

I was extremely lucky indeed, post pictues of your LJ! I'd love to see it. Although I'm not the most knowledgeable I do an extreme amount of research before I consider a modification so ask any questions if you'd like. Can't wait to see your build!

Absolutely love your build. What lift did you go with? How would you compare the ride from now to stock? Any other plans in the future?

I meant an inbetween gearing that would work for 33s and 35s

Thank you, I want to do it right. But at the same time don't want to do something that right now is not completely needed. After more research I realized that regearing in quiet expensive, so hopefully some other opinions will come through the thread. But for the moment I think I am going to...

Neal, Thanks for you input and I will keep you up to date. I didn't even think of regearing due to the fact that 33s aren't huge tires. Do you think it's necessary? Also I should mention that the LJ is a 6 speed manual.

I'm new to this, so I believe I am replying to you in the correct fashion. But I love it. The four banger was fun around town did awesome in the snow, but man compared to the 6 cyl it is like a lamorgini and a Prius. Because I have the six speed, new transmission for 2005, I start in second 90%...

    Road to LJ build

Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself to the thread. Coming from an 04 four banger, no AC. I picked up a 05 LJ last Monday, with 36000 miles. I'll say that again 36000 miles. Owned by a old lady with no offroading, and being from the north east, surprisingly no rust whatsoever. So the...

Aftermarket subwoofer replacement for factory subwoofer?

Thank you. I think I'm leaning towards doing a self powered subwoofer without a separate amp. And then head unit, and down the road different speakers. Do you know how people mount the self powered sub in the center console? Let me know if you have any other ideas.

Aftermarket subwoofer replacement for factory subwoofer?

Do you have any pictures of this install? Blew the sub in my 05 LJ today and trying to figure out the best solution. I was thinking about an amp and sub, but I'd rather just get a better head unit with higher rms and have the sub powered by itself. Also, how did you mount the sub to the console?
