I currently have a Rubicon Express long arm on my '03 Rubicon. Rather than spend ridiculous amounts of money staying with a bushing setup I am wondering if it is possible to, or if anyone has cut off the bushing side, welded in a tube insert, and converted to another brand of joints.

im looking at what to do for my front suspension components. the plan so far is to run 3" lift with 37's and high clearance fenders. now i'm debating the clayton 3 link for the front or stock setup with good control arms. anybody have pro's or con's for either option or even other suggestions...
