    Can’t seem to find a 03-06 lower steering shaft anywhere

    Hello All, I have a 2003 TJ X with the 4.0 in it. Im looking at getting a new lower steering shaft as i have a ton of play in my steering and i believe this is my issue. Im running 33x12.5 tires, i can find the 97-99 steering shafts but having an issue with ones that fit a 03. Any ideas?

    Steering shaft removal

    My lower shaft is stuck on the spline and I cant get it off. I've tried using a crow bar and leverage, PB blasted is 3 times, and used heat. Its still on there. Any advice is welcomed and needed!

    Do I need a new steering shaft on a 4 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift?

    I have a 03 TJ with a 4 in suspension and 3 in body lift. My upper u joint slipped off on a trail ride the other day and i am going to replace it asap. Do I need a longer shaft or can I get an OEM replacement?

    So recently, my Jeep has been riding really rough. I have had other people in the car say that it feels fine so my thoughts is something is a little off in the steering shaft.     Upper Steering Shaft Slip Joint - Slop Fix?

    I have an 05 Rubicon TJ that has a clunk feeling in the steering. I have narrowed the culprit to the slip joint on the upper steering shaft located at the fire wall. My question, can I drill and tap a set screw in the slip joint, or is this joint meant to be telescopic to make up for movements...
