I have 10 sets of these LED lights. They fit nicely in the 03-06 speaker pods.
The light is very white/blue and super bright.
They mount with 2 screws, the holes would be hidden under the stock lens if you removed them.
They have bulb adapters, so no wiring work. You will need to get the polarity correct, but that’s easy by just touching the contacts to figure it out before you mount them.

$25 local and $35 shipped. Venmo , PP, Zelle, cash, MO, check are all good.

Funny you should mention that…
Newer ford super duty under hood lights will plug right in, I needed to swap pins +\~ to get the right polarity. You also have to change the mount angle slightly by drilling a new hole.
