About a year ago I got this LJ and it was pretty stock besides a puck lift, random shocks, and 32in tires.

In the last year I've made good progress on my build.

Random repairs: new mopar radiator and water pump. New front drive shaft u joints. New head gasket.

Minor upgrades: led headlights and taillights. New led interior lights in dash / floor lights.

Front bumper: metal cloak
Rear bumper with tire carrier: made by me.
Rock sliders: metal cloak.
Short arm 3.5" lift: metal cloak with all control arms, sway bar quick disconnects and front rear track bar's.
Tires: 33x12.5x15 bfg k02

The lift and tires all happened this week so I haven't got to really test anything out yet. Just got it aligned today and still need to adjust the rear as the

Having the lift, tires, and winch on now really makes it look like a different animal.

Just have to wait to go wheeling in Estacada next weekend

I didn't actually realize there was any wheeling out in Estacada, but that makes sense.

The lift and tires definitely makes a huge improvement. They look so anemic in stock form (especially the Unlimited models with the longer wheelbase).

There is La Dee Flats OHV.

We however took some the old logging roads in a different area. Jeep and winch did really good. Got to give it to the K02's for their snow traction.

Is that an original Khaki top? This has to be my favorite color combo and yr/make/model of Jeep. I like that it has some battle scars on the front end too. Makes it look rugged. ;)

Its actually a BestTop I believe. OP had it on it, orginally paperwork states hardtop.

The jeeps lookin a lot more rugged after the last few months of work to her and some scarring.

It did great, my buddy in the white TJ has 35s and front / rear lockers but mud terrains and I was doing a lot better than him.

Generally speaking, mud terrains aren't very good in the snow unless it's powder. If it's packed snow like a lot of those roads look like in the photos, and all terrain tire will usually perform much better.

Either way, glad to hear you guys had fun (y)
