Hey guys, I’m new here! 1st post, so thanks in advance. Im 36, from St. Louis MO. I’ve owned a 98 TJ Sahara and currently a 06 4.0l 6speed sport.
It seems my pcm is going bad, jeep runs fine then engine light comes on with the 2 same codes. Crankshaft position sensor(changed sensor with mopar part) and throttle position sensor(also been replaced with new mopar part). Drove fine for a couple weeks now same issues as before going on. At highway speed after about 10 minutes it starts to misfire, have to use the clutch to keep from stalling. Slower speeds it wants to randomly cut out In between 1-3 gears. This is all completely random. Once i shut it off and let sit for hours, idle goes down back to normal and it runs fine. Usually no longer than 15 minutes and it starts to misfire. Seems like it’s usually after I’ve hitten bumps. Checked all connections and they are all good. Bottom line I need a pcm!!!! Thanks

Hello! Welcome to the forum. @RT06TJ
I highly recommend a @Wranglerfix PCM. I was going absolutely crazy with throttle position sensor codes, crappy performance, and hard shifting on my 05 LJR. Turns out the PCM was bad, and was not reading the tps correctly. I changed almost every damn sensor in the jeep before I finally broke down and bought the Wranglerfix. It absolutely works perfect. Give Mark a call and tell him what's happening with your jeep, he's a really good guy and he won't steer you wrong.
