1997 TJ SE restoration

My final project this weekend was to rebuild the rear axle and weld in new spring perches. Got the axle out and started cleaning up passenger side.

tomorrow I will weld in the new doorman spring perch and paint up the one side.

Well I welded I. The passenger spring perch. I little rusty welded but worked out good.

Well decided to tackle Jeep door today. Took it off, welded eve up, a little body filler and getting ready for some paint

Starting to get it back together but I’m being just too picky. I’m just wiring in a ATOTO Double DIN with carplay, gps, and OBDii

Thanks, my daughters really liked the oem colour so I stuck with it but a bit more work to paint.

Well I thought i would share a bit more on my transmission rebuild. My Jeep has a 30RH and overall not to bad of a job. I strongly suggest if doing a rebuild to invest in the Sonnax problem solver parts as it makes a big difference.

I bought the following for my rebuild.

Sonnax manual valve 22771-09

Sonnax Lube Regulated Pressure Regulator Valve 22771A-02K

Governor bore plug 22771-14K

Accumulator Piston Kit 22841-04K

Kickdown, Flex (1.60” Wide) 12022B

Mopar throttle cable guide 52079029

Dipstick tube seal ATP TO53

Pioneer Mater rebuild kit PIONEER 752057

Pioneer Filter and gasket PIONEER 745054

Transmission rebuild lube ATP AT201.
