I've found a set of 3.73 Dana 30/Dana 35 from a 2006 tj. No front hubs are included. I plan to swap these axles into my 1997. Can I use my 1997 hubs? It looks like the 2006 Dana 30 has ABS. Will that affect compatibility?

So long as you use your '97 unit bearing hubs and disk brake rotors they will bolt right up. Those did change in mid-1999 so if you replace either you have to replace both but they'll still bolt right up.

There is a difference. The later years are slightly "taller". You can swap your current ones over and use your existing brake hardware. If your new axle has brake hardware the rotor will lock up on the steering knuckle because its too tall. Basically, if you use the early model unit bearing you will have to use the earlier rotor. If using later year unit bearings then you have to use that same era rotor.
