1998 Jeep TJ Sport Wrangler. 4.0 liter 6 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission. Jeep is in good condition. Currently restoring the interior dash and door panels which have been coming out great. Great off roading upgrades. Front Locker, limited slip rear diff, disconnecting sway bars, full lift setup, etc.
1. Transmission - NV3550 out of a ~2003 wrangler (borg warner clutch)
2. Front axle - dana 30 out of ~2003 wrangler with 4:56 gears And hardened half shafts, new drive axle spicer u-joints and OX locker (cable actuated)
3. Rear axle 1996 Ford Explorer 8.8" with Ford OEM trac-lock limited slip, 4:56 gears and spicer driveshaft adapter (add's rear discs too)
4. front/rear drive shafts, custom upgraded tom-woods shafts
5. Radiator, replaced with an improved OEM style one (I think there's an extra core over stock)
6. Soft top, OEM sailcloth top off of 2003 wrangler in good condition (much thicker and quieter than the early TJ soft tops)
7. All fluids (except front diff and brake fluid) replaced within the last 6 months
8. Suspension: 3" BDS springs, Old Man Emu medium duty shocks, 1" body lift, front sway bar disconnects, rubicon express track bar, JKS(?) extended lower control arms
9. "Dozer Dan" Rock Rails and side steps
10. Borla exhaust (cat back)
11. Upgraded speakers in dash and soundbar with marine grade Sony headunit
12. Interior carpet removed and rhino lined floors.
13. Aftermarket wheels with nearly new Mastercraft 33inch mud terrain tires.
14. Rear brake lights LED and added bright LED reverse lights to rear bumper.
15. Snorkel currently installed
16. 231 Transfer Case refreshed with SYE

Recent Maintenance: Oil Change 76k Coolant Flush 76k Battery 2/2021 Trans mount bushings 76k Body bushings 76k Headlights 3/2021 Windshield wipers 3/2021

The frame is in great shape and has been preventatively coated over the years to prevent rust. Frame is very solid. Drivers side floor pan had some slight rusting around the drain plug, but was treated before rhino lined and has not spread/flaking.

No accidents and original bodywork and paint. Has been a project of mine fixing it up and sorting it out. Engine has 77k miles on it, but the gauge cluster has just recently failed. Currently have a used gauge cluster installed which shows 176k miles, but can provide original gauge cluster and can read the ECU to confirm original mileage.

Known issues: AC needs a charge, Drivers seat has tear on bottom cushion. Makes jeep squeaks and rattles. Paint is original, cleans up well, but has its share of chips and scratches.

Asking $8,000 OBO
