2.5 4 cylinder: what goes here?

Thank you guys for the help after further inspection I still cannot find anywhere for this to go to. However I did find a hose that starts around that location and ends disconnected by the transmission. Could it possibly go to there? I didn't see any obvious locations to hook it back up

Valve cover. Brake. Little sensor up by windshield washer fluid. Then an tip with no line

This is a old thread but I’m wandering the same thing. I have three hoses coming off but that nipple had nothing. Is there nothing that goes there? 2.5L the above photo almost looks capped with a red cap.

There should be no open hose nipples and caps are common. If it's open cap it off.

I think my map sensor went there or it looks like the same connection
