After reading some other threads its possible my crankshaft/camshaft position sensor is bad, anyone know how to test them?
I was quoted in a previous post regarding the Napa Echlin CPS that has been working well for me (no issues at all).

If interested, here are the part details:

Additionally, I believe you can still purchase the Mopar Crank Position Sensor, so I'd check Rockauto, Amazon, and/or wermopar.com for that part. (Note: be sure not to confuse this with the camshaft position sensor that I linked above). Many times, I use RA to get the part number and then purchase from Amazon if the item is on Prime (easy returns).

The ignition seems suspect to me for two reasons. First, the Jeep killed itself with the key removed. That'll happen if the Jeep is still on when the key is out. Second the Jeep cluster is dead when the ignition is on possibly meaning the computer and cluster might not be powered when the ignition position is on. Both these point to ignition switch problems. It's just a guess but wiggling the switch and seeing if anything changes might help, especially the cluster, that's easy to see.

No obdii comm, no fuel gauge = it’s not talking to the computer. BSK on YouTube has a preliminary PCM voltage/ground test. I would start there.

I ended up having a bunch of shorted wires & smoke release, but it could be a lot of things.
Our mechanic buddy ended up testing the pcm voltage/ground. PCM is most likely the issue. No shorted wires currently

Good day gentlemen,

@DylanM345 It sounds like your pcm is gone. Give me a call when you get a chance to discuss in further detail.

I apologize for the delay in responding as I have been busy moving warehouses.
