2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 having P0455 code issue

Help need to pass smog test is there an easy way to fix or “by pass”? I suspect the evap lines on top of fuel tank are broken and probably leaking can i just plug the line? Any help appreciated

No, you can't plug it. First guess is your gas cap. Then the purge valve, then the leak detection pump. If you see cracked or broken lines, they're easily enough replaced.
If in doubt, have it smoke tested.

a piece of advise, if you replace your purge valve I suggest replacing your evap cannister at the same time. many times the charcoal in the cannister will leak and clog up the purge valve. if you just replace the valve it will just clog up and ruin the new valve shortly....

Start with the most basic first. Gas cap then the manifold boots.

Decided to fix the boots with fuel hose. Little overkill but won’t have to fix again.
