It seems my 264K mileage ‘01 has begun to seep PS fluid from the input shaft seal. I’ve asked around locally if rebuilding is a good decision or just bite the bullet and buy a new replacement. The answers are don’t bother with rebuilding it as the innerds are likely worn too.

so, what brand replacement is the best go to for a lightly modded rig whose use will be DD, a tow behind and light dirt trails?

it’s too bad the box from my ‘13 JKUR won’t work as I have the original on a shelf with only 12k on it. (Replaced with a PSC).

thanks.

I went with a Lares from Rock Auto. I'm only on week 2 but it seems like a quality unit. So far its working perfectly. I went with the refurb model and sent back my core.
