Was looking at a listing on Facebook for just $3000 with just 100k miles. Sellers description said the radiator sprayed followed by smoke, and now it won't start. Anyone know what would be needed to fix it and price?

Hopefully they didn't blow a radiator and keep driving. If they did, that engine might be FUBAR. Might be a good candidate for a stroker or V8 swap if it is sold cheaply

My radiator did this and i discovered a hairline crack on the top. It was the original radiator. Don’t know why your engine won’t start though.

Depends on if it was just steam, or actual smoke. Not starting could be a lot of things.
Hopefully they didn't run it without oil and 'burn' it up.

Or the seller knows exactly what happened and they're playing dumb to help it sell.

Depending what the rest of it looks like, at that price, it would still make a great donor vehicle.

Yes, could be ran it hot and engine is seized up. 3k might be able to get lower and repower.
