My name is Hunter, I'm very new to this forum, so I thought it would be a good to share my Jeep with you all-

I have had this 2002 Jeep Wrangler 2.5 for almost 8 months now, and it came with an exhaust leak and an EVAP leak check engine light, so my gas bill has definitely started to creep over me.

In the parable of taking care of business, I've decided on replacing my manifold all together, and include a few other fascinations with it in an effort to improve my fuel economy.

Here is a list of parts I will be ordering over the next 2 months:
Exhaust Manifold
4 port fuel injectors
Throttle body spacer
Radiator w/ electric fan

I'm also planning on adding an electric motor under the hood to drive the AC compressor on its own pulley, as I have the spare parts lying around so I may as well throw it in there.

And I am planning on building my own Li-ion battery to replace the standard lead acid battery it came with. I just don't know if I should make it 12v or 16v

As it will always be, your thoughts are encouraged. I'm especially looking for recommendations that help with fuel economy.

Skip the injectors, that's the biggest scam / myth in the book and has been debunked a million times over.

Those injectors will do absolutely nothing whatsoever...nothing.

The throttle body spacer is also a huge scam, read this:

And the radiator with an electric fan is a terrible idea. Electric fans are 100% not necessary on TJs as the factory fan is more than up to the task. You're going to run into issues with the electric fan and that piss poor quality electric radiator that will fail in short order (do some search on aluminum radiators if you don't believe me). Trying to re-engineer a cooling system (the factory one) that already works 100% as it should is a stupid idea. The factory cooling system will cool your TJ even in these insane 120 degree temperatures we get here in Arizona. What are you hoping to gain by going to that cheap radiator and an electric fan? Because I can promise you, you won't gain a single thing.

The exhaust manifold will also crack prematurely (this is a guarantee) as they are made of cheap, poor quality metal and lack the factory flex joints. In addition, you may gain a few horsepower from it, but it will be negligible at best, I'm talking about maybe 3-5 HP tops, and that would be on a good day.

You need to rethink your plans. Almost every thing you've just listed is a poor idea. I don't mean to be harsh, but this is the reality of it. My only goal here is to save you money and prevent you from making the mistakes you're about to make.
