While I agree with your sentiment on Spicer u-joints, I disagree with them always being the right choice for "ALL" u-joint needs. I'm of course a big Spicer fan and I consistently recommend them but if you're willing to spend more and you have the need for significantly greater strength, there are better u-joint choices for some, albeit rarer, applications. I'm running CTMs in my front Superior Axle Evolution axle shafts, they're a beast of a u-joint.
