My backup lights no longer work.

Here is what I know...

-The bulbs are good.

-Fuse #7 behind the glove box is receiving power.

-The switch on the transmission has continuity when in reverse.

-Purple/white stripe feeding the switch has no power.

-Purple/black stripe to the backup lights has continuity when fed directly from the battery. Meaning that the backup lights are working, but are not receiving power before the transmission switch.

It seems like the problem is between the glove box fuse panel and the transmission switch. Where does this wire go so I can narrow down the break in continuity?

It's fixed. I unplugged/replugged the the big grey connector on the firewall. That was the problem. And this also fixed my glitchy gas gauge that I was going to try fixing next.

I’m also having trouble with my backup lights. Bulbs, fuse, & switch are good. Was the grey connector one of the two big connectors to the left of the pedals?

Do you have a hardtop? I don’t remember if my rear wiper quit working at the same time as the lights but I tested the body side connector and I’m not getting any voltage to the motor.
